If ever things happen so badly that your are expelled from Hong Kong, remember in Normandy you will always find support. We always help gutsy people like you ! I have been living in Beijing in 1991 and I now a little bit what you are talking about ! PM me for private info.
ChiNazi is no exaggeration given what the Chinese Communist Party is doing now. China is the next USSR except it also incorporated Nazi (national socialism) elements. This is what the scam of socialism (both international socialism, aka, commies, and national socialism, Nazi) is: any forms of collectivism (especially socialism) always means disrespecting individual liberty by giving the big brother government powers to treat people like animals on a farm.
Many thanks, Samuel! What a wonderful post! I look forward to hearing more about the work you will do for Hong Kong in the coming months. May your optimism be infectious! Simon
Happy new year to you Samuel. Your courage and resilience have inspired us Hongkongers. We are so grateful to have you here - thanks for everything - Yuki
I am sorry for what happened. The collapse of rule of law has let so many people down.
In 2018, I decided to do a second degree in laws. However, since the things happened in 2019 and 2020, I stopped pursuing the degree. The environment has changed and become way too strange, and I dun see the point to do the laws degree anymore. But since then, I have start doing and learning the things I truly enjoy.
I have found back the joy and value of life. It is much more than just finding and spending money.
Pleas don’t be discouraged. Every cloud has a silver lining. Wish you all the best in life. Stay healthy and safe.
I really like this insight and have had a similar feeling in recent months--that with all the bad that's happened in HK and across the world, it's really helped many of us recognize what's important, what we care about, and assess how we're living our short lives. Stick with what you love and what gives you joy.

Thank you, and I really appreciate the support and feedback.
Denise Ho also said the same thing. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9W4SDpn0IHY) Both of you showed glimpses of hope for the humanity. Have a Happy New Year!
Thanks for sharing the video. Happy new year!
