Today, Substack launched Substack Notes, designed to be a civil and stable social media alternative for writers and readers. I would love for you to join me there.
Notes is just getting started, but has the potential to be the first viable alternative to Twitter, as a space for both writers and readers to share thoughts and build community. I’m a big champion of what Substack is trying to do here, especially given the challenges that have arisen with advocating for important issues like Hong Kong on Twitter, and will be posting on Notes regularly.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Hong Kong Law & Policy, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Hong Kong Law & Policy can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
